Pricing depends on which format you choose. Click here for detailed pricing information.

Do I have to be a PLUS member to pursue the RPLU designation?
No, the RPLU designation is open to everyone whether they are a PLUS member or not. However, both modules and exams pricing is based on member status. On average, PLUS members save $50 to $100 on each purchase. Click here for more information on joining PLUS.

Are there any prerequisites for the RPLU designation?
No, there are no prerequisites for the designation and you are not required to study modules in any particular order. However, if you are newer to the industry, we strongly recommend starting with the Core modules, then moving on to the Elective modules.

Do I have to complete the designation in a certain amount of time?
No, there is no time limit on completing the designation so you can feel free to go at your own pace. On average, you can expect to spend 10 to 12 hours studying per module. To ensure you have the most current content, we strongly recommend that you order a module(s) when you're able to commit to studying and taking the corresponding exam.

I have other professional designations. Are there any waivers available for PLUS modules?

Yes, certain Core modules can be waived based on other designations and educational background. Click here to view available waivers.

To receive a waiver, the following steps must be completed:

  1. Select the appropriate RPLU Waiver here (click on Page 2) and submit with payment
  2. Upload the required documentation, transcripts, or certificates under the Document Uploads section of the Member Dashboard

Each waiver application is $75. This fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee approval of the waiver application.

How do I take an exam?
If you purchase an Online eLearning module, an exam is automatically included in your module. If you purchase a Digital Download or Hard Copy module, or you need CE credit for your exam, you'll need to take your exam at a proctored location.
