Continuing Education Information
Each exam is proceeded by a brief tutorial and consists of 30-50 multiple-choice questions. A two hour block of time is allotted for your exam. Students will be reminded of unanswered question(s) at the end of the exam. Grades for all exams are available immediately after completing the exam and sent to PLUS.
The following Prometric policies and fees for rescheduling an exam date are in effect as of April 1, 2012
Once you have set an exam appointment, it may be rescheduled, subject to the limitations set forth below, by calling Prometric at (866) 846-8055. Cancellation, no-show or late arrival (15 minutes or more) will result in forfeiture of fees. Fees are not transferable.
Rescheduled exams must be taken within the 90-day eligibility period, or testing window. Extensions to the 90-day eligibility window will not be granted.
The following time limitations and rescheduling fees apply:
Less than 3 business days prior to exam date. You may not reschedule. Cancellation, no-show or late arrival will result in forfeiture of initial registration fees.
From 3 to 12 business days prior to exam date. Rescheduling is allowed for a $50 fee. Contact Prometric if you would like to request a hardship exception to the fee.
More than 12 business days prior to exam date. An exam may be rescheduled with no fee, though it must be taken within the 90-day eligibility period.
To reschedule an exam date, call Prometric at (866) 846-8055. Business days are defined as Monday-Friday, excluding holidays observed by Prometric. Rescheduling fees are the responsibility of the exam-taker, and will be charged and collected by Prometric.
You will be required to provide a government issued ID to the testing site. This ID must match the information on your confirmation. The testing centers will not accept company ID cards, credit cards, or other forms of identifying documents as government ID.
Confirmation / Next Step
When your completed registration has been processed by PLUS, you will receive an e-mail from PLUS Staff confirming your registration and giving you next-step procedures, including how to select your testing location.
Prometric Site Locator
Do you want to see if there is a testing center located near you? Click on this link to access the Prometric Site Locator . Choose the Academic, Professional Licensure and Certification option. Then choose Professional Liability Underwriting Society from the dropdown menu. You will be able to request a testing location from an extensive list of domestic and international sites.
Prior to taking your final exam, you will need to submit an Agreements Form to PLUS. This Form is used to collect information about you in order to issue documentation confirming that you have completed the designation.
