LoriAnn Lowery Biggers is Responsible for the management of the distribution strategy, marketing, branding, and the regional management structure and operational oversight of Navigator’s 15 field offices in order to effectively matrix with the product line management structure that had been in place.LoriAnn has over 20 years experience in the insurance industry, most recently as President of Lloyd’s North America. During her tenure as President of Lloyd’s North America, LoriAnn restructured the North American operations to achieve greater productivity and created a shared services platform. She was very active in promoting increased visibility for Lloyd’s in the United States, which accounts for 55% of Lloyd’s total business. She has previously held positions as the Managing Director and National Practice Leader for Risk Management and Financial Products for Wells Fargo Insurance Services, as the Managing Director and Practice Leader for ERM, Alternative Risk Finance and Risk Solutions at Marsh and McLennan, and Global Director of Financial Products at Sedgwick, Inc.LoriAnn is currently on the national board of Prevent Child Abuse America, and sits on the advisory board of St. John’s University. She serves on the board of Global Advance, Inc., which is one of her most intriguing activities (www.global advance.org), a nonprofit that deploys senior executives to equip and empower women leaders in their marketplace to advance their abilities and to reach their full potential. She serves on the advisory board of Graduate Studies at Robert Morris College, the TFG Educational Foundation which educates on talent pathing and diversity, overcoming personal constraints for maximum personal growth in education, charter schools and corporate sectors. She sits on the Counsel on Litigation Management and is a Member of Global YPO (Young President's Organization). In the past, she has served on the National Council of Ronald McDonald House, the Boards of Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.LoriAnn served on the 2008-2009 P&C CEO Roundtable. She served on the 2009 APIW Woman of the Year selection committee. LoriAnn was chosen as a 2010 Reactions Magazine Rising Star award recipient. She is a 2008 Business Insurance "Woman to Watch".LoriAnn was the speaker at the national Rims/ALB 2009 CEO’s View From The Top. She has been a speaker and panellist at multiple national Rims conventions, an APIW keynote speaker, FEI national keynote speaker, the keynote speaker at the Pink Inc Impact Summit. She has been a panellist and keynote speaker at multiple conferences and events to include: National Association of Securities Dealers, multiple state rims events, financial executives conferences throughout the country, AM Best, NY Economics Club, British American Business, Napslo, ALB, AAMGA, Prima and ABA. LoriAnn has been the subject of feature articles in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Business Insurance, National Underwriter, Leader’s Edge, Reactions Magazine, Focus Magazine, and twice as the cover of Best Weekly.LoriAnn’s community service activities are extensive. Most notable are mission trips for Habitat for Humanity in Louisiana, Georgia and Kansas; and serving between 1996-2002 as an Advisor for Service over Self, an organization bringing together African-American with Anglo Americans to learn tolerance and value diversity. Over the past few years, LoriAnn had made trips to Lebanon, South Africa, Israel and Mexico on mission trips that have involved teaching ethical business practices to women entrepreneurs in those countries. She will be working with women in Ghanna and Mumbai in 2010. In November 2010, LoriAnn will be part of a team, deployed to work with young girls who have been extracted from human trafficking and that are re-entering society with detox and counseling centers in Athens and Bulgaria.LoriAnn, a sixth generation Texan, moved back to Dallas from New York last year when she married her husband Keith. She resides there with her husband and 3 step-children.

Warren Macdonald’s life’s boundaries were redefined in April 1997 with his accident on North Queensland’s (Australia) Hinchinbrook Island. Climbing to the Island’s tallest peak, he became trapped beneath a one-ton slab boulder in a freak rock fall. Two days later he was rescued, only to undergo the amputation of both legs at mid thigh.Just ten months later, he climbed Tasmania’s Cradle Mountain using a modified wheelchair and the seat of his pants.In February 2003, he became the first double above-knee amputee to reach the summit of Africa’s tallest peak, Mt Kilimanjaro (19,222ft), and more recently, in a spectacular effort requiring more than 2,800 pull-ups over 4 days, created history once again in an ascent of America's tallest cliff face, El Capitan. He is also the only above knee amputee to make an ascent of Canada’s landmark frozen waterfall, the 600 ft “Weeping Wall” in Alberta.Warren’s first book, “A Test of Will” is an Australian bestseller and the subject of the “Trapped under a Boulder” episode of the Discovery Channel series “I Shouldn’t Be Alive”. His film documenting the epic four-week journey to Federation Peak, Australia most challenging mountain summit, “The Second Step”, has been acclaimed worldwide, screening on National Geographic Television and winning eight international awards including Grand Prize at the prestigious “Banff Mountain Film Festival”.Warren has appeared on numerous news and current affairs programs, including “Larry King Live”, “The Oprah Winfrey Show”, and “The Hour” with George Stroumboulopoulos. He has written articles for “CNN World Edition” (WWW), “Australian Geographic”, “Speaking of Impact” and “Professional Speaker”.He lives in Winlaw, British Columbia with his partner Margo Talbot.

Condoleezza Rice is a professor of political science at Stanford University and the Thomas and Barbara Stephenson Senior Fellow on Public Policy at the Hoover Institution.
From January 2005 to 2009, she served as the 66th secretary of state of the United States. Before serving as America’s chief diplomat, she served as assistant to the president for national security affairs (national security advisor) from January 2001 to 2005. Rice joined the Stanford University faculty as a professor of political science in 1981 and served as Stanford University’s provost from 1993 to 1999. She was a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution from 1991 to 1993 and returned to the Hoover Institution after serving as provost until 2001. As a professor, Rice won two of the highest teaching honors: the 1984 Walter J. Gores Award for Excellence in Teaching and the 1993 School of Humanities and Sciences Dean’s Award for Distinguished Teaching.She has authored and coauthored several books, including Germany Unified and Europe Transformed: A Study in Statecraft (1995), with Philip Zelikow; The Gorbachev Era (1986), with Alexander Dallin and Uncertain Allegiance: The Soviet Union and the Czechoslovak Army (1984).Rice served as a member of the boards of directors for the Chevron, Charles Schwab and Transamerica corporations as well as the International Advisory Council of JPMorgan. She was a founding board member of the Center for a New Generation, an educational support fund for schools in East Palo Alto and East Menlo Park, Calif., and was vice president of the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula. In addition, she has served on several local and national boards of foundations and charitable organizations.Rice has been involved in a number of humanitarian pursuits, most notably with PEPFAR (The President's Emergency Plan for Aids Relief) and in creating and serving on the board of the Millennium Challenge Corporation. Both endeavors increased aid to developing countries and the world's poorest, most disadvantaged populations. PEPFAR was the largest commitment of funds from any single nation to combat a single disease at any time in history and the Millennium Challenge Corporation promotes sustainable economic growth and poverty reduction.She currently serves as a member of the board of trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. In addition, she is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Rice earned her bachelor’s degree in political science, cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Denver in 1974; her master’s from the University of Notre Dame in 1975; and her Ph.D. from the Graduate School of International Studies at the University of Denver in 1981.

A Silicon Valley icon and philanthropist for the past three decades, Steve Wozniak helped shape the computing industry with his design of Apple’s first line of products the Apple I and II and influenced the popular Macintosh. In 1976, Wozniak and Steve Jobs founded Apple Computer Inc. with Wozniak's Apple I personal computer. The following year, he introduced his Apple II personal computer, featuring a central processing unit, a keyboard, color graphics, and a floppy disk drive. The Apple II was integral in launching the personal computer industry.
In 1981, he went back to UC Berkeley and finished his degree in electrical engineering/computer science. For his achievements at Apple Computer, Wozniak was awarded the National Medal of Technology by the President of the United States in 1985, the highest honor bestowed on America’s leading innovators.
In 2000, he was inducted into the Inventors Hall of Fame and was awarded the prestigious Heinz Award for Technology, The Economy and Employment for “single-handedly designing the first personal computer and for then redirecting his lifelong passion for mathematics and electronics toward lighting the fires of excitement for education in grade school students and their teachers.”
After leaving Apple in 1985, Wozniak was involved in various business and philanthropic ventures, focusing primarily on computer capabilities in schools and stressing hands-on learning and encouraging creativity for students. Making significant investments of both his time and resources in education, he “adopted” the Los Gatos School District, providing students and teachers with hands-on teaching and donations of state-of-the-art technology equipment. He founded the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and was the founding sponsor of the Tech Museum, Silicon Valley Ballet and Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose.
Wozniak currently serves as Chief Scientist for Fusion-io and is a published author with the release of his New York Times Best Selling autobiography, iWoz: From Computer Geek to Cult Icon, in September 2006 by Norton Publishing. His television appearances include reality show “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List” and season eight of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars”.

John N. Doggett is a Senior Lecturer of Global Management, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainable Energy at the McCombs School of Business of the University of Texas at Austin. Professor Doggett is also a Senior Research Fellow at UT's IC2 Institute and co-founder of UT's International Idea to Product Competition™.John received Outstanding Professor Awards from the Executive MBA Program in 2009and the full-Time MBA Program in 2008, 2004 and 1998. John received the Outstanding Professor Award from the Texas Evening MBA program in 2007, the Dallas-Fort Worth Working Professionals MBA Program in 2004 and UT’s Executive Engineering Management Master’s Program in 2002. In 2003 his teaching excellence was also recognized with awards from the U.S. Army War College and the Texas Evening MBA Program.Since 2003, John has led business observation tours of MBA students to China. In 2010, he started taking MBAs to India also. Since 2000, John has spent part of each summer and winter teaching entrepreneurship and global competition workshops in Austria, China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore and Thailand. He has taught summer courses at Aoyama Gakuin University, in Tokyo, Japan, at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and at Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand.John is a co-author with Professor Konana of UT and Professor Balasubramanian of UNC of “Advantage China,” an article comparing the economic development strategies of China and India. Frontline, India’s leading opinion magazine with 700,000 subscribers, published Advantage China as their cover story in the March 12th 2005 edition.John is a co-author with Professor Kelm of UT and his wife, Haiping Tang of Dell, of a new book called Chinese Working with Americans: Cultural Case Scenarios, which has just been submitted to several publishers for review.In August 2001, John was appointed director of the Texas Executive MBA Program that was developed by UT and Texas Instruments (TI) in 1999 to provide an Executive MBA for TI employees. John was asked to convert this program from a TI-specific program to a public program for students in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. John led the successful transformation of this program and the first class open to the general public started in the Fall of 2002.John is a member of the Board of Directors of Affinegy, Inc., an Austin software company, Lehr, Inc., a Los Angeles propane-powered lawn and garden equipment manufacturer and Applygenie.com, an Austinonline college application service.In October 2000, e-company now magazine (now Business 2.0) selected John as one of nine people to know in Austin if you want to start a new business. John has extensive experience consulting with companies of all sizes, including Fortune 500 firms and rural electric cooperativesin the United States, Europe and Asia.John is a former McKinsey & Co. consultant who created his own international management-consulting firm in 1983. During the next decade, his firm helped businesses and governments in more than 25 countries develop and carry out strategies to become more competitive. John was a cofounder and COO of an Austin-based Spanish language TV sports programing company that signed a 3-year exclusive contract with the NFL.John was the host of his own radio talk show in the late 1990s, during which time he was named one of the 100 most influential radio talk show hosts by Talkers Magazine. John practiced law for seven years and was an attorney in California, Connecticut and the District of Columbia. He is married to Haiping Tang, a senior product planner for Dell, Inc.
