Michael J. Cawley is an equity partner with Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker in its Philadephia, PA office. He is a 1981 graduate of the University of Scranton and a 1984 graduate of Villanova Unviversity School of Law. He has significant experience in the defense of professional liability matters, including, insurance broker error and omission; legal malpractice; architechts and engineers, director and officer and other miscellaneous professional liability claims. He has represented the interests of insurer and reinsurers in coverage and bad faith claims having argued before various Circuits Courts of Appeal and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He is rated AV by Martindale Hubbel; a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel and is a Sub-committee Chairperson for the American Bar Association Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee.
