Annamaria Landaverde (PANELIST)

Ms. Landaverde joined the Munich Re, US Reinsurance Division in September 2017. Based in Princeton, NJ, she is responsible for the profit and growth of the Cyber Reinsurance portfolio and US team, with a focused emphasis on strategy and product development. She is also an active member of the Munich Re Cyber Global Line of Business Board.

Prior to joining Munich Re, Ms. Landaverde served as Cyber Practice Leader for a multi-line MGA and a global insurer Starr Companies, responsible for the day to day management and development of the Cyber product in each role. Earlier in her career, Ms. Landaverde served as Professional Liability Team Lead for small business clients and National Accounts Underwriter, both at AIG.

Beth Diamond is responsible for the management and operational efficiency of a high-performing global team servicing claims arising from a diverse group of specialty insurance lines. She is a strategic thinker with a record of customer focused delivery, experienced in digital solutions, and producing innovative customer experiences. Beth has spent her career at the forefront of the most challenging issues facing our policyholders. Her extensive experience powers her incisive and strategic thinking, whether it be defending novel legal theories, analyzing emerging areas of the law, or simply navigating through a set of complicated factual issues. Prior to joining Beazley, Beth practiced at a large international law firm in New York, specializing in complex commercial litigation, handling litigation in state and federal courts, bench and jury trials, as well as domestic and international arbitrations. She also regularly provided litigation advice on corporate deals, and is a trained mediator. Beth graduated from Wellesley College, and Cornell Law School, where she was the Senior Articles Editor of the <em>Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy</em> and was named to <em>Who’s Who of American Law Students</em>. She completed a federal clerkship in 1996 for The Honorable Alfred J. Lechner, Jr., United States District Court, District of New Jersey. Christopher Keegan is Senior Managing Director and Cyber and Technology Practice Leader at Beecher Carlson in the Executive Liability Practice. Chris places network, privacy, technology and media E&O insurance for a wide variety of companies including financial institutions, authentication providers, manufacturers, healthcare, retail and telecommunications companies. Christopher has also executed Cyber Information Risk Assessment projects and worked with regulators on evaluation of E-Business risks.

Prior to joining Beecher, Christopher was a National Resource at Willis for Cyber and E&O and a leader of the Information Risk Advisory Practice at Marsh focusing on Privacy, Technology, Media, Network Intellectual Property and Professional Liability insurance products.
<br/><br/>
Before joining Marsh, Christopher was Vice President at Zurich Reinsurance (North America) Inc., where he was instrumental in the development of the Zurich Re E-Commerce and technology reinsurance portfolio, advising the company with regard to infringements of intellectual property rights, breach of rights of privacy, electronic contracts, electronic signatures, trademarks, trade secrets, electronic attacks and electronic breaches of security.
<br/><br/>
Chris worked in New York and London as a lawyer in private practice from 1985 to 1999, dealing with general commercial and corporate risks, professional liability claims and reinsurance disputes. During this period, he worked on risks faced by financial institutions and technology companies, including those arising from computer crimes and Y2K dealing with matters in the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, Latin America and the United States.
<br/><br/>
Christopher is closely involved with the development of new insurance products designed to transfer electronic risk and is often asked to speak on these topics at seminars and functions throughout the United States and Canada. He has published a number of articles and books on privacy, intellectual property and technology and is licensed to practice law in New York, New Zealand and England.
<br/><br/>
Chris is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Maryland, Smith School of Business, assisting their efforts for the Department of Homeland Security and NIST in designing assessments for Cyber and technology risk. Christopher graduated from Long Island University with a B.A. in English and a J.D. from Saint John’s University School of Law.

Danielle Roth is Practice Leader and Head of Cyber Claims North America for AXA XL. In this role, Danielle and her team counsel policyholders with regard to pre-incident services, as well as comprehensive responses to data breaches and security incidents, and work with policyholders on the defense of class actions, regulatory investigations, as well as other E&O, technology and media claims. Danielle joined AXA XL in 2015, and 18 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining AXA XL, Danielle had over ten years of experience with E&O claims both on the carrier side and as monitoring counsel for various domestic and international insurance carriers. Danielle graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A. in Psychology and in Journalism, and received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. Danielle is admitted to the New York State Bar.

Darin McMullen is a Senior Vice-President and E&O/Cyber Product Leader with Aon Risk Solutions. As a member of Aon’s Professional Risk Solutions Group, Darin focuses on product innovation and works closely with clients to develop effective E&O and Cyber solutions. Darin is the Chair of PRS’s Policy Committee, which is dedicated to reviewing and developing policy language with key business partners. Prior to joining Aon, Darin was a Shareholder with the law firm of Anderson Kill and represented commercial policyholders in connection with a number of lines of coverage including E&O, cyber insurance, D&O and business interruption. Darin served on American Bar Association’s Task Force on Disaster Insurance Coverage and has served as a law clerk in the US District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He is an honors graduate of University of Pittsburgh and holds his J.D. Summa Cum Laude from Widener University, where he was the Editor in Chief of the Law Review.

Erica Davis is Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Cyber at Guy Carpenter. Erica joined the Guy Carpenter team through the 2019 Marsh and McLennan acquisition of JLT Group, where she led the Cyber and E&O practice for JLT Re in North America. Erica serves clients by utilizing years of cyber, professional and multi-line underwriting expertise to design new products for emerging affirmative and non-affirmative cyber risks. Erica joined JLT Re from Zurich, where she was senior vice president and Head of Cyber & Professional Liability for Zurich North America. Erica had national oversight of the Professional Liability, Security & Privacy and Employed Lawyers lines of business, with a specialization and thought leadership position in network security and privacy risk transfer solutions.

Erica is a key contributor to the public sector dialogue around cyber insurance and has provided testimony to the House Small Business Committee as an expert witness in cyber security insurance. As a prominent leader in understanding cyber risk at an enterprise level, she has presented at the National Institute of Standards and Technology and has contributed to several publications, events, articles and interviews in the industry.

He has held senior management and executive positions in underwriting, retail and wholesale brokerage and MGA operations.

John Coletti is Senior Vice President and Head Cyber Reinsurance at Swiss Re, a leading global reinsurer. He is responsible for all aspects of Swiss Re's global cyber reinsurance portfolio including strategy, portfolio ownership, underwriting activities, data and analytics, and capacity management. Based in New York, John oversees a global team of underwriters and actuaries. Previously, he was the Chief Underwriting Officer for cyber at AXA XL 2012 where he built and led a market leading underwriting team. Prior he enjoined an eight-year run at CNA as an Assistant Vice President where he managed a nationwide team of underwriters and a book of business which included technology E&O, miscellaneous professional liability, cyber liability, and media liability. John is highly regarded for thought leadership and being one of the early innovators of cyber insurance. He engages regularly with media and is a frequent panelist at industry events. In 2017 he was recognized as the Industry Person of the Year by his peers at the Advisen Cyber Risk Awards. John is a graduate of Adelphi University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Manish Karir is currently the Vice President for Data at CyberCube Analytics where he oversees the development and implementation of the overall data strategy including data collection and analysis. Prior to CyberCube, Manish was the founder and CTO at QuadMetrics Inc which pioneered the development of a machine learning based approach to distilling quantifiable risk scores from historical incident and cybersecurity risk data signals. This approach was further expanded after the acquisition of QuadMetrics by the Fair Isaac corporation where it was used to create the FICO Cyber Risk Score. Manish has over 15 years of extensive experience in cybersecurity and Internet data collection, processing and analysis.

Matt Prevost (PANELIST)

Matt Prevost, RPLU, joined Chubb in July 2014 as National Product Line Manager for Chubb’s network security, privacy and technology Errors & Omissions (E&O) products. Since 2016, he has assumed overall responsibility for cyber product management in North America. <br/><br/>
In this role, Matt is responsible for developing underwriting strategy, negotiating complex accounts, developing and maintaining a broad network of brokerage and vendor relationships, developing and driving distribution, and enhancing cyber services through all channels. Additionally, Matt plays a significant role in Chubb’s Global Cyber Practice, which addresses growing risks as legislation and privacy and network security exposures evolve around the world and customer demands for cyber insurance and risk management solutions grow and change. As of 2018, Matt is also a member of Chubb Group’s Emerging Risk Committee and an advisor for the Cyber COPE Insurance CertificationSM (CCIC) program provided by Chubb and Carnegie Mellon University. <br/><br/>
Matt is a certified Continuing Education instructor in a majority of states and regularly speaks on the topics of cyber and privacy insurance, technology E&O, Directors & Officers (D&O) coverage, and cyber risk. Nick serves as the Vice President of Information Security for CNA’s Specialty Risk Control unit. Nick has more than 15 years of information security experience and specializes in data leakage prevention, security policies, incident response, data breach and security awareness.

Prior to re-joining CNA in 2011, Nick served as a Senior Analyst for Information Security Risk Assessment at HSBC. Prior to that role, Nick held roles in CNA’s Information Technology unit.
<br/><br/>
He received a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and a Master’s of Science in Computers, Information & Network Security from DePaul University. Nick holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) designations as well as an Associate in Risk Manager (ARM) certification and a CIPP/E certification, which is focused on the data privacy regulations of the EU and GDPR. Nick is also a Fellow of Information Privacy with the IAPP. He has presented courses on privacy, big data, the cloud and healthcare risks, and has also written and contributed to articles regarding information risks, social engineering, mobile device security, phishing and personal password management.

Oli has spent over twenty years focused on cyber insurance as an underwriter and leader in the insurance market before becoming part of the co-founding Leadership team at CyberCube in 2018. He heads Client Success to enable clients to make better capital and risk decisions using CyberCube products. He has worked in the London and New York insurance markets for companies such as Hiscox, Liberty Mutual and Aspen, where he was global head of cyber risk. The role and impact of data analytics in cyber risk and insurance is one he has been focused on for several years, along with the intersection and mutual benefits of cyber security and insurance. Prior to joining Munich Re, Robert was a Managing Director and Marsh’s Cyber Product Leader; where his responsibilities included advising clients on issues related to intellectual property, technology, privacy, and cyber risks as well as negotiating with carriers on terms and conditions. <br/><br/>
Robert was the senior vice president and Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) of eBusiness Risk Solutions at AIG. Robert joined AIG in 1998 as legal counsel for its Professional Liability group and held several executive and legal positions, including CUO for Professional Liability and Technology. While at AIG, Robert oversaw the creation and drafting of underwriting guidelines and policies for all lines of Professional Liability. Robert was also instrumental in the development of specialty reinsurance to address aggregation of risk issues inherent in cyber, privacy and technology insurance. In addition to working with AIG, Robert has also been in private practice, principally as legal counsel to various Lloyds of London syndicates.

Scott Stransky is Managing Director and Head of the Cyber Risk Analytics Center at Marsh McLennan. The Center was formed in mid-2021 to provide cyber modeling, thought leadership, and cyber analytics guidance across the Marsh McLennan enterprise. Previously, he led the Cyber Modeling group at extreme event modeling firm AIR Worldwide (part of Verisk Analytics). Under his leadership and guidance, the team sourced and cleansed detailed cyber security, incident, and claims data, and combined it with advanced machine learning algorithms, stochastic modeling techniques, and Monte Carlo simulations, providing the insurance industry with a robust suite of models to manage their cyber insurance portfolios.
