Christopher Dilenno is a founding partner of Mullen Coughlin. He focuses his practice on assisting clients in Data Privacy and Network Security matters, with a
particular focus on responding to data breaches and related data exposure events. When a healthcare provider is faced with the loss of a laptop containing names and social security numbers, or a retailer is hacked and credit card information is stolen, he assists these clients in identifying appropriate and required next steps to comply with the various state, federal and international data breach notification and privacy laws, to comply with business-to-business contract duties, and to regain customer and client confidence. These steps can include engaging forensics experts, notification printing and mailing providers, call center and identity protection providers, demonstrating compliance to regulators, responding to requests for information, and defending clients confronted with regulatory actions and litigation initiated by affected individuals and business partners.

Additionally, Joe assists in the development of Markel’s cyber underwriting strategy and portfolio management of cyber insurance products.

John Black
John has extensive experience in insurance law, regularly advising insurers on liability and insurance issues concerning professional and directors' and officers' liability, transactional liability, privacy and cybersecurity and media liability. John speaks and writes frequently on legal and insurance issues involving privacy and information security. Steve Robinson is the Area President and National Cyber Practice Leader for Risk Placement Services, Inc. The RPS team has specific expertise in cyber insurance program development for businesses and organizations in numerous verticals such as financial services, education, healthcare, retail, hospitality, religious and nonprofit and education. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Steve has been with RPS since 1995 and his public speaking engagements have included the national Advisen Cyber Liability Insights Conference, the ACI Cyber and Data Risk Insurance Litigation Conference, the national Cyber Liability Insurance ExecuSummit, and a panelist discussing cyber risk insurance trends before the Federal Insurance Office at the United States Treasury.
