Carrie Kennedy serves as Vice President, Public Company Management Liability Industry Leader for CNA and oversees public, large private and law firm management liability business. Prior to joining CNA, Carrie was employed with Chubb Group of Insurance Companies for 13 years, most recently managing public management liability business for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Ms. Kennedy began her career in San Francisco, CA and has spent the last 10 years in New York City where she is currently based. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Nazareth College and is a graduate of the Women Unlimited, Inc’s Women’s Leadership program.

She is an active member in the firm’s Insurance/Reinsurance, Insurance Bankruptcy and Executive Production and Risk Management Groups. Nancy has extensive experience representing and advising primary and excess insurers on the business and legal implications of a variety of complex coverage issues involving personal, commercial and transactional lines of insurance. Nancy’s experience includes representing insurers with respect to coverage issues arising under all lines of property and casualty insurance. Her practice has involved representing insurers in state, bankruptcy and federal courts across the country. Nancy also advises with the firm’s corporate clients on a variety of insurance and risk management-related matters ranging from the evaluation and negotiation of D&O, cyber and traditional P&C insurance policies to the drafting and implementation of indemnification agreements for corporate boards. In addition to her insurance practice, Nancy’s practice includes representing clients in civil litigation, including class actions, principally in the areas of personal injury, professional liability and products liability. Nancy is the President of the Board of Trustees of the Insurance Library Association of Boston. Nancy received her CPCU designation in 2002 and served as an Executive Officer of the international CPCU Society. She is a member of PLUS’ Education Committee and past member of the New England Chapter Steering Committee. Nancy regularly speaks and writes on insurance industry issues and teaches CPCU courses to professionals. In addition to PLUS and the CPCU Society, Nancy is a member of the American College of Insurance Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel, the International Association of Defense Counsel, the Aviation Insurance Association and the Massachusetts, Women’s and Boston Bar Associations. She received her bachelor of arts from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and her juris doctor from Boston College Law School. </p>

<p> In her role, Teresa provides insurance solutions for high growth private and public company clients. Teresa has extensive knowledge in the management and professional liability insurance arena. <br/><br/> Currently, she handles a multitude of pre-IPO, SPAC, and public clients in various industries. She has authored articles on D&O and cyber liability and is a regular speaker on management liability topics. <br/><br/> Teresa brings significant knowledge of the claims and coverage landscape and has a strong background in advising on claims and legal trends, the litigation environment, and loss mitigation strategies. <br/><br/> In addition to working at several global insurance carriers and a multinational broker, Teresa has also provided management consulting services to a diverse client base. <br/><br/> She holds a business degree from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and earned her juris doctorate from Pace University School of Law. </p>
