PLUS Southwest Chapter Educational Seminar:
JOBS Act & the Impact on Our Jobs
Join PLUS for an afternoon of interesting discussion and networking. The seminar will discuss:
Crowd funding and how private company D&O will be affected
Overview of the JOBS act from a public company filing perspective
Who qualifies and what exemptions are afforded to publicly listed companies?
Legal and other implications for the IPO market and new public filers
Insurance industry reaction and what it means for D&O underwriters and insurance buyers
The seminar will include lunch. There will be a cocktail reception following the seminar, as well!
This course has been approved for 3 CE and CLE credits in Colorado.

<p>Mr. Bailey is a nationally recognized expert regarding directors' and officers' responsibilities, liabilities, indemnification and insurance. As Chair of Bailey Cavalieri LLC’s "D&O" practice group, he represents directors and officers, corporations and insurance companies relating to corporate governance matters, and has been involved in most of the largest D&O lawsuits in the country for more than 25 years. In addition to publishing dozens of articles on the subject, he is co-author with William E. Knepper of Liability of Corporate Officers and Directors (8th Edition), which is cited as the standard treatise on the topic. </p>
