Candace Parker

As one of the most decorated women’s basketball players of all-time and a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, Candace Parker has already solidified herself as one of the most influential athletes of this generation. Both on and off the court, Parker has continued to build a legacy that she hopes will inspire others to break through glass-ceilings as she has.

Candace Parker is the most accredited women’s basketball player of all time. Throughout her career, Parker has been known for her ability to win at all levels. This knack for shattering glass ceilings became prevalent in the early 2000s in her hometown of Naperville, Chicago.

Since then, Parker’s notoriety has only grown, from bringing legendary Coach Pat Summitt her final two national championships at Tennessee to being the first WNBA player to appear on the cover of NBA 2K as the central athlete of the 25th Anniversary Special Edition. Both on and off the court, Parker has continued to build a legacy that she hopes will inspire others to break through glass ceilings.

Parker is the founder of Baby Hair Productions, an athlete advisor of Avenue Capital, and the first-ever President of Adidas Women’s Basketball.

As a mother and an empowered Black woman, Parker has developed into a bold, insightful, and inspiring thought leader who is passionate about the importance of women’s rights, voters’ rights, and Black Lives Matter.

She serves as a mother of three, public speaker, activist, entrepreneur, and NBA commentator and broadcaster.

Greg Case

CEO and Board Director, Aon | Boards of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital, Field Museum of Natural History and St. John's University School of Risk Management

Greg Case is Chief Executive Officer of Aon plc, a leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk, retirement, and health solutions. He is also a member of the company's Board of Directors.

Before joining Aon, he served on the governing Shareholders' Council at McKinsey & Company, a leading international management consultant, and led their Global Insurance and Financial Services Practice. Prior to McKinsey, he worked for the investment banking firm of Piper, Jaffray and Hopwood and at the Federal Reserve Bank.

Case holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated summa cum laude from Kansas State University. He serves on the boards of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital, Field Museum of Natural History, and St. John's University School of Risk Management. Case was named by the Harvard Business Review as one of the top 100 best performing CEOs in the world in 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016 and 2014.

Joan Woodward

EVP OF PUBLIC POLICY AT TRAVELERS | PRESIDENT OF THE TRAVELERS INSTITUTE

Joan Woodward is Executive Vice President of Public Policy for Travelers and President of The Travelers Institute. She is a member of the company’s Management Committee, Operating Committee, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Committee, and also serves on The Diversity Council, and the Travelers Foundation Board. She is the current Chairperson of the Travelers Community Connections Campaign.

Woodward joined Travelers in 2008 from Goldman Sachs to establish The Travelers Institute as the company’s thought leadership and public policy platform.

Prior to her current role, Woodward worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. for ten years, where she was the founding Executive Director of the company’s Global Markets Institute, the firm’s international public policy and institutional investor educational platform. She also served as Founding Director of Washington Equity and Bond Research for Goldman Sachs’ Global Investment Research where Institutional Investor magazine recognized her as a top Washington analyst for investors.

Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Woodward worked on Capitol Hill for 12 years, as Deputy Chief of Staff for the U.S. Senate Finance Committee working for Chairman Bill Roth, where she was instrumental in creating the Roth IRA. She also was the Chief Economist for the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee and the U.S. House Budget Committee under Chairman John Kasich.

She is currently the Chairman of the Board of the RAND Institute for Civil Justice; on the United States Chamber of Commerce Foundation; and a member of the President’s National Small and Medium Enterprise Export Council. She is also a member of the American Corporate Partners Board. Reactions Magazine named her to the Top 50 Women in Insurance, and in 2016, she was named to the Hot 100 in Insurance list by Insurance Business America Magazine. In 2017, she received the 2017 Power Women’s Leadership Award by NY Moves magazine.

Woodward holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science and a master’s degree from The American University. She also studied at the University of London.
