Chicago’s own, inimitable, The Second City is coming to the PLUS Conference to curate an experience designed just for our attendees that includes both emcee duties and improv performances! Known for launching the careers of comedy legends like Tina Fey, Bill Murray, Mike Myers, and Cecily Strong, Second City is in a distinguished class of their own.
Carisa Barreca, a Second City veteran, will keep us on our toes serving as the 2024 PLUS Conference emcee and highlight the humor of our dynamic industry. We will also hear hilarious sketches written specifically for the PLUS crowd, incorporating day-to-day scenarios, insider lingo, and more.
But that’s not all—be ready for some side-splitting improv at Thursday’s PLUS Happy Hour, where performers will create material on the spot using audience suggestions. You’ll also get to enjoy some of the best scenes from Second City's legendary archive, blending classic sketches with fresh, spontaneous satire.
