The PLUS Emerging Leader Award recognizes rising talent who exemplify excellence, innovation, and leadership potential. Help us celebrate the next generation of industry trailblazers!

Important Dates & Next Steps:

• Nominations: Now Closed
• Member Voting: September 8 – 16, 2026

Guidelines:

• Nominations must be submitted by industry members (self-nominations not allowed).
• Each person may submit only one nomination. If multiple nominations are submitted, only the most recent will be considered.
• PLUS staff will contact each nominee to confirm their interest, verify eligibility, and secure their permission to publish details from the nomination form on the PLUS website.

Selection Process Reminder:

• PLUS members will vote for nominees from September 8 – 16, 2026
• A Future PLUS Committee sub-group will review the top 10 vote-getting nominees and select 3 recipients.
• Recipients will be notified the first week of October and invited to an award ceremony at the PLUS Conference, November 10 – 12, 2026, in San Diego. They will also be featured in the PLUS Blog.

Eligibility requirements:

• Must have worked in the professional liability industry for at least 5 years
• Must be under 40 years old at the time of award (November 11th, 2026)
• Must be a current PLUS member

Award criteria:

• Demonstrated commitment to the professional liability industry
• Demonstrated leadership attributes and skills
• Nominator must have worked or volunteered within the industry with the nominee
