The Emerging Leader Award recognizes exceptional young professionals in the professional liability insurance industry who demonstrate leadership, innovation, and a commitment to advancing the field. Each year, this award highlights rising talent whose contributions are shaping the future of the industry and positioning them as the next generation of leaders.

Selection Process

  • PLUS members will vote for nominees from September 8-16.
  • A Future PLUS Committee sub-group will review the top 10 vote-getting nominees and will select 3 recipients.
  • Recipients will be notified the first week of October and be asked to partake in an award ceremony at the PLUS Conference, which is being held November 10 – 12, 2026, in San Diego. Recipients will also be highlighted in the PLUS Blog.

Eligibility

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the professional liability industry
  • Under 40 years old at the time of the award
  • Current PLUS Member

Award Criteria

  • Demonstrated commitment to the professional liability industry
  • Displayed leadership attributes and skills
  • Nominee's nominator must have worked or volunteered within the industry
