How to Earn the ExecPLP Designation:
- Be a PLUS member with at least 2 years of professional liability insurance experience
- Complete the following PLUS Curriculum modules and their corresponding exams:
- Module 1 | Fundamentals of Liability Insurance (Non-CE Version)
- Module 2 | Commercial General Liability Insurance Overview (CE Version | Non-CE Version)
- Module 3 | Professional Liability Insurance: Introductions (CE Version | Non-CE Version)
- Module 6 | Professional Liability Insurance Claims (CE Version | Non-CE Version)
- Module 9 | Public/Financial D&O Liability Insurance (CE Version | Non-CE Version)
- Module 10 | Private/Non-Profit D&O Liability Insurance (CE Version | Non-CE Version)
- Module 11 | Employment Practices Liability Insurance (CE Version | Non-CE Version)
- Module 12 | Fiduciary Liability Insurance (CE Version)
- Attend the live PLUS D&O University program or complete the on-demand version
- Submit the ExecPLP Agreement Form to the Designation & Curriculum Manager
Maintaining your ExecPLP Designation:
To maintain your ExecPLP designation, complete and self-report 12 hours of professional development related to D&O professional liability every 2 years. Half of these hours must be from courses presented by PLUS, such as:
- PLUS D&O Symposium (in-person or on-demand)
- Other PLUS Symposium or Conference session on D&O liability
- PLUS webinar addressing D&O liability
Note: *Professional development hours do not need to come from state-approved continuing education courses. PLUS D&O University does not qualify for professional development hours, as it is a requirement for earning the ExecPLP designation.
Complete the ExecPLP Agreements Form after completing your last module and submit it to the Designation & Curriculum Manager.
