Module 11: Employment Practices Liability

EPLI insures businesses against damages and legal defense expenses resulting from wrongful acts arising from their employment practices, which can include discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and other related workplace infractions. The EPLI product did not even exist until the 1990s. However, today EPLI is an important part of the professional liability insurance market. Many companies now consider EPLI an integral part of their insurance portfolios because every organization with employees is at risk for employment-related lawsuits. However, there are still many companies that do not have EPLI. This module is designed to help develop or improve your professional skills in selling, underwriting, or managing claims for EPLI.
