The PLUS Symposia Series took place March 3-5 in New York City with nearly 1500 professional liability practitioners in attendance across three dedicated events for EPL, D&O, and Cyber. This educational series is carefully curated each year to provide an overall career-enhancing experience for the attendees. We’re excited to share a highlight video capturing some great moments along with a collection of photos showcasing the experience.

The symposia featured 81 industry leaders who gathered at the New York Marriott Marquis to discuss pressing issues and share innovative insights. Preet Bahara, former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, was amongst these experts as he spoke at the D&O Symposium networking luncheon on March 5.

The three separate symposium events featured an array of timely topics ranging from artificial intelligence to the new administration’s legislation and their current and projected impact. This was the first year that the EPL Symposium was expanded to a full-day event, and it included a mock trial focused on a sexual harassment/discrimination case. The audience was given first-hand experience serving as the jury, which offered valuable insights from this unique perspective. Lively discussions and debates ensued amongst all the symposia sessions, with up to 17 CE/CLE credits available to attendees.

The symposia session materials and recordings are now available for you to utilize at your convenience. Please log in to the PLUS Learning System with your credentials to gain access to the session materials and recordings. If you were an attendee at the Symposia events, please refer to your email for the session recordings.

Included amongst the many benefits of attending the PLUS Symposia Series is the chance to connect with fellow practitioners and broaden business development. There were ample opportunities to network with colleagues from near and far, including the annual PLUS Foundation Strikes for Charity bowling event held on March 3. This fun-filled evening gave brokers, underwriters, reinsurers, claims, attorneys, and risk managers an opportunity to try their hand at bowling and talk amongst peers while also raising funds to help support the Foundation’s important efforts.

Planning is already underway for next year’s events, and we hope you’ll join us whether as a veteran attendee or a newcomer. Save the date for March 2 – 4, 2026, when we will once again gather in New York City to enhance our educational insights surrounding the dynamic professional liability industry!
