Professional Liability Underwriting Society Announces Christine Williams as the 2026 PLUS1 Award Recipient

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — The Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) is pleased to announce that Christine Williams, Global Head of Client and Broker Relationships for AIG, is the 2026 PLUS1 Award recipient. The distinguished honor celebrates exceptional professionals who have made remarkable additions to the everchanging world of professional liability insurance. Several different criteria are considered during the selection process, including reputation and career success, history of lectures, participation on panels addressing topics in the industry, current activity in professional liability, training and involvement in PLUS, and both the longevity and measure of impact in the business.

Christine currently leads AIG’s enterprise-wide relationships with key global clients and distribution partners, working across the company to bring together AIG’s full capabilities, expertise, and risk solutions to advance growth opportunities across AIG’s General Insurance businesses. She comes from Aon, where she served as Co-Head of Aon U.S. and was a member of Aon’s Executive Committee. During more than two decades at Aon, she held senior leadership roles in the United States and internationally, focused on driving growth and deepening client relationships. Her experience is in leading global teams and delivering high-quality outcomes. Additionally, Christine is actively involved in advancing talent and inclusion across the industry, including as co-founder of The Bridge, a nonprofit focused on supporting and mentoring women.

The official presentation of the award will take place on November 10 at the opening general session featuring Jesse Cole as part of the 2026 PLUS Conference being held at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina Hotel from November 10-12. The annual conference provides an incomparable platform for professionals to come together, learn, and celebrate industry-wide outstanding achievements.
