Big Ideas. Bold Conversations. Unmatched Connections.
For three days in New York City, the professional liability community came together for one of the industry’s most concentrated learning and networking experiences of the year.

The 2026 PLUS Symposia Series brought together more than 2,000 professionals from across the industry for four focused events—EPL, Transactional Risk, Cyber, and D&O—each designed to address the issues shaping today’s professional liability landscape.

Across the series, members engaged with dozens of industry-leading speakers, participated in CE/CLE eligible sessions, and connected with peers from across the country. Whether attendees came to sharpen technical knowledge, grow their professional network, or gain insight into emerging risks, the Symposia Series delivered.

Four Symposia. Countless Insights.
The week began with the EPL and Transactional Risk Symposia, where attendees heard from leading practitioners and judges on the issues shaping employment litigation and the evolving transactional risk market.

A standout EPL session, A View from the Bench: The Judicial Perspective on Employment Litigation, offered something rarely available to litigants—direct insight from the people ultimately deciding cases. Judges shared candid perspectives on the litigation process from filing through resolution, giving attendees valuable context that can influence how cases are approached and managed.

Throughout the day, panels tackled the practical realities professionals face in the field, providing insights grounded in real-world experience.

Connections That Drive the Industry Forward
The learning didn’t stop when sessions ended.

Following the conclusion of the EPL and Transactional Risk programs, attendees gathered for a joint networking reception, bringing the two communities together to exchange ideas, reconnect with colleagues, and build new relationships that drive business growth.

The week also featured the PLUS Foundation’s Strikes for Charity event, where hundreds of participants came together in support of an important cause. Proceeds from the event directly support the PLUS Foundation’s programs aimed at developing tomorrow’s professional liability workforce, including the Women’s Leadership Network and the Leadership & Mentorship Program.

Tackling the Most Urgent Risks
The momentum continued as 1,000+ professionals gathered for the Cyber and D&O Symposia, diving into some of the most pressing challenges facing the industry today.
Cyber sessions explored the evolving tactics of threat actors and strategies organizations can use to prepare for large-scale attacks. Meanwhile, D&O panels examined worst-case claims scenarios, private company exposures, shifting political landscapes, and the year ahead in securities litigation. This year also featured a first-ever joint session between both Cyber and D&O, and the room was packed.

These conversations were timely, practical, and forward-looking—equipping attendees with insights they can immediately apply in their work.

Big Announcements and Big Ideas
Day two began with an exciting reveal: Jesse Cole, Founder of Fans First Entertainment and owner of the Savannah Bananas, will serve as the keynote speaker at the 2026 PLUS Conference in San Diego, November 10–12.

Later, D&O attendees gathered for a keynote luncheon featuring Geoff Colvin, Senior Editor at Large for Fortune, author, and economist. His session, Finding and Keeping Great Employees in an AI World, explored how artificial intelligence is transforming the workforce and what organizations must do to cultivate the uniquely human skills—judgment, relationship-building, and decision-making—that will define success in an AI-driven economy.

Where the Industry Comes Together
By the final day, one thing was clear: the PLUS Symposia Series is more than a set of educational programs—it’s where the professional liability community gathers to share knowledge, strengthen relationships, and move the industry forward.

From emerging cyber threats to shifting litigation trends and evolving workplace risks, the conversations happening throughout the week reflected the complexity—and opportunity—facing the profession today.

Whether you’re early in your career or a seasoned industry leader, the Symposia Series offers something invaluable: insight you can use, connections that matter, and a clearer view of what’s ahead.

And if you weren’t in New York this year, one thing is certain—you’ll want to be there next time.
