What’s New and What’s Next: Future PLUS Highlights and Upcoming Programming

In 2025, PLUS launched the Future PLUS Advancement Initiative, a strategic, high-impact effort focused on expanding opportunities for early-career professionals, increasing awareness of Future PLUS offerings, and strengthening the industry’s leadership pipeline. Through this initiative, we have introduced a range of dynamic networking and educational programs designed to support and engage our Future PLUS members.

As we head into the second quarter of 2026, we’re proud to reflect on the meaningful progress achieved so far this year and excited about the impactful programming still to come in the months ahead.

Programming to Keep on Your Radar

PLUS LEAD Program
In late February, we concluded our third successful Future PLUS LEAD Program cohort. This six-week, interactive virtual leadership experience is designed to prepare industry professionals, with 4 to 7 years of experience, for their next career milestone. Through instructor-led sessions, collaborative breakout discussions, scenario-based learning, and the use of an interactive digital whiteboard, participants gain practical tools, sharpen their leadership capabilities, and build the confidence needed to lead effectively.

Looking Ahead: 2026 LEAD Cohorts
Building on the momentum of our first three cohorts, we’re excited to expand the Future PLUS LEAD Program in 2026 with three additional opportunities to participate. Registration is now open for:

Spring 2026: May 6 – June 10

Summer 2026: August 5 – September 9

Fall 2026: September 23 – October 28

We look forward to welcoming the next group of emerging leaders into this transformative experience.

Future PLUS Mentorship Program
The Future PLUS Mentorship Program offers a powerful opportunity for leaders and emerging professionals to build meaningful connections. This 3–12-month experience thoughtfully pairs members with seasoned industry professionals for focused, career-driven guidance.

Through the program, mentees gain valuable insights, broaden their professional networks, and take intentional steps forward in their careers. At the same time, mentors have the opportunity to give back, share their expertise, and play an active role in shaping the next generation of industry leaders.
