Laura Palmer-Turnacliff
Since joining PLUS in 2012, Laura Palmer-Turnacliff has been the creative force behind countless successful events across the organization’s Chapters and global community. As Senior Event Planner, she works closely with stakeholders and volunteers to bring professional development opportunities to life whether through dynamic networking gatherings or thoughtful educational programs.
Laura’s work covers every detail of the event process, from sourcing venues and managing speakers to crafting timelines, negotiating contracts, and keeping budgets on track. Her eye for logistics is matched by her commitment to creating experiences that leave a lasting impact on attendees.
Before coming to PLUS, Laura served as Director of Public Relations for a Minneapolis-area nonprofit, where she led communications, fundraising, and event strategy. That experience sharpened her ability to think strategically, manage multiple priorities, and communicate with purpose, which are skills she brings to every project. She also holds a Virtual Event Meeting Management (VEMM) certification, adding another layer of expertise to her planning toolkit.
Outside of work, Laura recharges by spending time with her family at the lake, boating, gardening, and making new memories in the sunshine.
