Megan Moore, APTD®

Megan Moore joined PLUS in 2017 and brings a thoughtful, strategic approach to building impactful learning experiences for members. After earning her degree in Communication Studies from the University of Minnesota, Megan began her career in human resources at an engineering consulting firm before transitioning into instructional design at a software company. That combination of technical insight and people-centered thinking continues to shape her work today.

At PLUS, Megan oversees the educational program and product strategy, leads the education team, and serves on the leadership team. She holds the Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD®) designation and completed the Master Instructional Designer™ program in 2024, bringing both credentials and creativity to her work.

Megan is especially proud of her role in launching the ExecPLP designation and D&O University, both of which began as bold ideas and grew into meaningful, career-advancing programs for members. One of her favorite parts of the job is working with volunteers—she’s continually inspired by their commitment to PLUS and their eagerness to share knowledge with the broader professional liability insurance community.

Guided by the principle of progress over perfection, Megan believes that meaningful work happens when we’re willing to take risks, try new things, and keep moving forward.

When she’s not working, you’ll find her reading, traveling, exploring the world of true crime, or spending time with her husband and their two beloved dogs.
