Why Lloyd’s- An Intimate Chat with Alice and Tilly

Alice Budge is a seasoned broker with 15 years of experience in the Lloyd’s market, including the past five years with SR International. She specialises in placing North American Errors and Omissions, Financial Institutions, and Media Liability risks, and has developed a significant presence within the Delegated Underwriting Authority sector. In addition to her broking responsibilities, Alice serves on the London PLUS Committee, contributing to market development and industry initiatives.

Tilly Milnes joined IQUW in October 2023 as a Senior Claims Handler and has recently transitioned across disciplines from Claims to become an Underwriter within the Professional Lines team, bringing cross-functional expertise and technical knowledge to the role. She has been advising clients and handling complex professional lines claims in the London market for over 10 years. She trained at Kennedys and qualified as a solicitor in 2015, thereafter continuing to work with its Professional Indemnity team. During her time at Kennedys, she had secondments to three leading London insurers. In 2018, Tilly joined WRB Underwriting, working as a Claims Adjuster and managing a portfolio of international D&O matters, with a focus on US exposures. Before joining IQUW, Tilly also worked as a Senior Claims Adjuster at Arch Insurance in London, handling complex D&O, Financial Institutions, and Transactional Liability claims in a variety of jurisdictions.
