Cyber Session: The Empire Strikes Back -How to Prepare for the Big Attack

The Cyber insurance industry and partner ecosystem, including DFIR vendors, attorneys, insurance response experts, and others are starting to plan for more frequent, widespread, and lengthy outages of systems and networks. As the geopolitical landscape gets more complicated and our dependence on computers and interconnectivity only increases, we have an obligation to strategize how we are going to respond to a catastrophic, widespread cyber-attack impacting multiple regions, industries, companies, or a combination of these factors. The purpose of this panel is to discuss likelihood and impact/severity, recovery processes and methods, advice to policyholders, insurers, and others on how to think about and prepare for this type of event, and how insurance may cover these events.
