Abby Wein

Abby Wein, Esq. is a Senior Claims Consultant at Nationwide. Abby is a point person on high exposure cyber matters, handling these matters from inception to conclusion, including data breaches, ransomware matters, social engineering claims, large business interruption claims and third-party class actions. Abby also has extensive experience handling severe miscellaneous professional liability, employment practices liability, and public company D&O liability claims.

Prior to joining Nationwide, Abby handled a variety of financial lines claims, including managing and creating the claims handling protocol for a professional liability program at a large carrier. Outside of claims, Abby has worked as in-house counsel at a Fortune 100 company in addition to clerking in the Commercial Division of the New York State Supreme Court. Abby has a Bachelor of Arts in French from Connecticut College and received her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School.
