Brian M Finlay

Brian M. Finlay serves as Executive Managing Director and Casualty & Professional Liability Broker within Aon Reinsurance Solutions, based in New York. Brian brings more than three decades of reinsurance industry experience, having joined Aon after 18 and a half years with TransRe, where he held the role of Global Head of Strategy for Treaty and Facultative Management & Professional, Transactional Liability, and Cyber. Prior to TransRe, Brian spent 13 years in reinsurance broking with leading firms including Aon Re, Guy Carpenter, and JLT Re, with the majority of his formative career at Aon Reinsurance.

Brian leverages his extensive underwriting and broking expertise to help clients effectively navigate market volatility and make informed decisions regarding Casualty and Management & Professional Liability risks. His deep understanding of reinsurer perspectives, gained through significant underwriting experience, enables him to advocate for clients in today’s dynamic reinsurance environment.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from St. Bonaventure University and has earned the Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designation.
