Christine Mapes leads a team of attorneys supporting policyholders through cyber incidents, related legal proceedings, and broader business impacts. With two decades of experience spanning cyber insurance, incident response operations, and complex litigation, Christine combines legal insight, strong vendor partnerships, and a customer-first approach to deliver tailored, scalable solutions across industries. Before rejoining Travelers, Christine served as Senior Vice-President of Operations at a global incident response and managed services firm. There, she led a full-scale transformation of the business, focusing on operational scalability, efficiency, and profitability. Earlier in her career Christine provided strategic legal guidance and managed complex litigation involving specialty casualty and professional liability lines. She began her legal career as a practicing attorney at Mendes & Mount, LLP, a New York based law firm specializing in insurance and reinsurance law. She holds a J.D. cum laude from St. John’s University and is admitted to practice in New York.
