Deb Goldberg

Deb Goldberg is the Head of Allied Healthcare at AXIS Capital. Deb has 25 years of experience in medical professional liability area and has served in underwriting leadership roles focusing on the allied healthcare, hospital, physician practice and senior living sectors. Prior to working in medical malpractice underwriting, Deb was a medical defense and insurance coverage attorney in Chicago, IL. Throughout her career, Deb has focused on thought leadership in the healthcare space and has presented on emerging issues, risk control, economic trends and policy changes at conferences around the United States. She has also been an instructor at PLUS University and has taught continuing education classes on medical malpractice for insurance agents and brokers and underwriters. Deb has a J.D. from George Washington University School of Law, a Masters in Public Health from the George Washington University Milken School of Public Health and holds an RPLU designation.
