Elaine M Ziemba

Currently the SVP and Chief Risk Officer for the Stanford Medicine Enterprise in Palo Alto, CA, responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of the risk management, claims management and risk financing functions. Elaine has spent 30 plus years in the healthcare realm including executive leadership, litigation management, insurance and insurance services and captive/risk financing management. Additionally, Elaine has and continues to serve in various Board and faculty roles. Elaine has a BA from the University of Maryland, a Masters in Health Administration from The George Washington University and a Juris Doctorate from Golden gate University.
