Heather Pfeffer

Heather spent 10 years in private practice defending medical malpractice actions before transitioning to a risk management position at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she focused on risk mitigation over various practice groups. She later joined the claims team at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, where she was responsible for the direct handling of pre-suit claims and management of in-suit matters. She joined Beazley in 2020, and is currently the Focus Group Leader for Healthcare Claims, where she focuses on a wide variety of complex claims, including healthcare and general liability matters.
