Joe Niemczyk

Joe oversees Markel’s administration and evaluation of cyber claims for a wide spectrum of industries and product lines, while also being a point of contact for cyber risk management, breach incident response, thought leadership and claim advocacy. Additionally, Joe assists in the development of Markel’s cyber underwriting strategy and portfolio management of cyber insurance products.

Prior to joining Markel, Joe practiced law as an insurance defense attorney and subsequently began handling insurance claims, with an emphasis on Miscellaneous E&O/Professional Liability.

Joe is licensed to practice law in the State of New York and earned his Juris Doctor at New York Law School. He is based in Markel’s Manhattan office.
