Kenneth Reilly has served as CEO, Insurance, Asia Pacific since April 2024. The role is responsible for the management, expansion, and growth across 11 markets. Mr. Reilly also served as the Deputy CEO of Sompo Japan, responsible for the Commercial Insurance business in 2025 to further align and drive transformation across the domestic business.

Mr. Reilly joined Sompo in July 2022 as EVP, Head of the Tokyo Office for Sompo International, and EVP, General Manager of the Global Business Department at Sompo Holdings, Inc.

With 30 years of global insurance experience, he was previously served as the CEO of Japan’s largest foreign-owned general insurance global company. Mr. Reilly has a strong background in commercial underwriting, serving clients and intermediaries across various geographies and segments throughout his career. He has held roles in underwriting, distribution and management in New York, Bermuda, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Singapore.

Mr. Reilly holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from Villanova University and is bilingual in English and Japanese.
