Kurt Charles Struckhoff

Headshot of Kurt Struckhoff

Before attending law school, Kurt received joint degrees in finance and accounting with summa cum laude honors. Since graduating from law school, his practice has been exclusively devoted to complex fiduciary breach litigation, including class actions brought under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”). His academic background has proven to be an immensely valuable asset to the firm when handling these financial matters.

Kurt has been actively involved in all aspects of complex litigation, from pre-complaint investigation through judgment. He has been second chair in multiple ERISA class actions tried by the firm, as well as the lead associate or junior partner in other actions that each resulted in multi-million dollar settlements for class members. For instance, he was an integral part of the trial team in Pledger v. Reliance Trust, Co., No. 15-4444 (N.D. Ga.), which resulted in a $39.8 million settlement following trial. He was also a member of the trial team in Tussey v. ABB, Inc., No. 06-4305 (W.D. Mo.), which was the first full trial of any 401(k) excessive fee case brought under ERISA.

Outside of work, Kurt enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys.
