La’Vonda McLean is a Client Executive for select clients where she coordinates Marsh’s extensive network of industry- and product-specific specialists to craft strategies that align with each client’s unique needs. La’Vonda collaborates closely with clients to establish both short- and long-term strategic goals, serving as their primary point of contact for overall account management.
La’Vonda also brings a wealth of expertise as a Senior Client Advisor and the former Employment Practices Liability (EPL) and Wage & Hour (W&H) Product Leader within Marsh’s FINPRO Practice, the financial and professional insurance group. In her FINPRO Senior Client Advisor capacity, she provides global risk advisory services related to directors & officers (D&O) insurance, EPL, W&H insurance, crime insurance, fiduciary liability, and other financial lines for large, multinational corporations. As the former EPL/W&H Product Leader, La’Vonda oversaw Marsh’s US EPL and W&H industry and product team, where she delivered thought leadership, crafted bespoke policy language, and developed both internal and external content, including legal and regulatory updates.
Prior to joining Marsh, she held a leadership role at another major global broker, where she led the financial and executive risk team for the Southeast region, was an industry segmentation leader and the national healthcare industry leader. Before her time in the brokerage industry, La’Vonda worked at a national law firm in Atlanta, specializing in labor and employment law. Additionally, she served as a senior underwriter at Zurich North America.
La’Vonda has over 20 years of experience in the insurance and legal fields.
