Lisa House

Lisa R. House is a Partner in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP’s Columbus office. Ms. House has 21 years-experience (private practice and public service) in tort litigation including jury trials. Ms. House is an ABOTA member.

Currently, Ms. House focuses on healthcare, aging services, medical and dental malpractice, healthcare management liability, and insurance coverage/extra-contractual liability. Ms. House also holds a BSN and MSN.

As an Assistant Corporation Counsel of the New York City Corporation Counsel, Ms. House represented The City of New York and City agencies in the area of toxic and mass tort litigation. Ms. House’s practice included TBI and spinal cord injury cases and toxic tort cases involving Covid-19, Legionnaires’ Disease, Lead, and Tuberculosis. She also handled mass tort cases involving catastrophic water main breaks and gas explosions.

Fun fact: Ms. House has completed an Ironman 70.3.
