Margaret Mede

Margaret Mede joined AXIS as Head of Canada Claims in 2019. Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service and technical proficiency, Margaret leads a team of claim professionals who partner with insureds and brokers to build strong relationships and drive efficient and pragmatic claim resolution.

With an insurance career that began in Professional Lines, Margaret has extensive experience handling high-severity and high-complexity liability claims. A native Montrealer, Margaret became a member of both the Quebec and Ontario bar associations following the completion of her law degree at McGill University in 2007. She holds a Masters in International Business Law from University College London, and is licensed as a commercial lines claim adjuster with Quebec’s Autorité des marchés financiers.
