I have 25 years of experience specializing in complex claims and coverage issues concerning directors’ and officers’ liability, professional liability, employment practices liability, crime/fidelity and fiduciary liability matters for public and private company commercial clients, as well as financial institutions and non-profit organizations.
I counsel clients with respect to their insurance contracts and assists them in navigating through complex claim and coverage issues, and in obtaining payments and recoveries in connection with lawsuits and other legal claims brought against them. Since 2018, Marie has become a thought leadership expert on trending insurance topics, including sexual harassment “#Me too” claims, Covid-19 workplace claims, and DEI matters. Marie has published numerous white papers on these topics, participated in webcasts, podcasts and video series, and she has been interviewed by numerous journalists and quoted in over dozen press articles, including the Wall Street Journal.
