Marilyn G. Valenciano

As Vice President, Medical Professional Liability Claims, Marilyn G. Valenciano, oversees and manages both the medical and dental professional liability claims at Aspen. She has over 20 years of experience in litigation, claims and insurance. Prior to joining the insurance industry in 2010, Marilyn worked as a healthcare defense attorney defending a wide range of healthcare providers in professional and general liability claims in Florida and California.

Marilyn began her claims career with The Doctors Company where she handled medical malpractice and dental malpractice claims for over a decade. She later joined TDC Specialty and ESIS ProClaim, a Chubb Company, where she continued to pursue the defense of healthcare providers.

Marilyn holds a BS in Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida and a Juris Doctor, Health Law Concentration, from Nova Southeastern University. She is admitted to practice law in Florida, California and Texas and holds multiple adjuster licenses. At Aspen Marilyn oversees and manages both medical malpractice claims and dental practice claims.
