Mark Schwartz

EXPERTISE
As the Director of Claims for Lockton’s Transaction Liability Practice, Mark works
closely with Lockton clients, providing valuable guidance throughout the life of
representations and warranties insurance (RWI) claims to facilitate smooth processes
and optimize outcomes. Mark brings more than 20 years of extensive insurance and
financial services litigation experience to the role. He has represented clients in
disputes arising from alleged fraud and breaches of representations and warranties
during mergers and acquisitions and advised insurance carriers on representations &
warranties insurance claims. With his decades of experience, Mark is well-positioned to
provide Lockton’s clients with key perspectives when evaluating, pursuing and
resolving their claims. Mark began his litigation career at Jenner & Block but spent the
majority of his pre-Lockton time at Butler Rubin LLP, a Chicago-based insurance and
reinsurance litigation boutique (which merged into Porter Wright Morris & Arthur in
2019).
