Meredith Huskey
Meredith is an Associate Fellow within our South Regional Practice. She is an Associate Director and Actuary.
In the role of Associate Director and Actuary she is responsible for providing loss reserves, exposure and funding analysis for high deductible and self-insurance programs. She also provides loss reserve opinions for foreign and domestic captive insurance companies, as well as providing regulatory support for self-insurance workers compensation programs. She supports other credentialed actuaries by performing peer reviews in accordance with the company’s guidelines and actuarial standards of practice.
In 2023 she is leading Aon’s Hospital and Physician Professional Liability Benchmark Analysis.
Experience
Prior to joining Aon, Meredith served as a Senior Actuarial Analyst at Zurich Financial Services Group in the Zurich Programs and Zurich Small Business units. She spent fourteen years pricing insurance products with concentration in Program and Small Business risk.
Meredith provided pricing analysis, territorial analysis, and the development of rating plans for new and existing products. She also filed rating plans and rate changes, developed programming requirements for new rate plans and products. As well as extensive work in builders’ risk, workers compensation, general liability and property books of business.
Expertise
Meredith’s expertise includes reserving, pricing and loss forecasting analysis for workers compensation, professional liability, general liability, and auto liability, and property coverages. Meredith worked on Aon’s Professional and General Liability Benchmark for Long Term Care providers and Aon’s Hospital and Physician Professional Liability Benchmark since joining Aon. She provides actuarial management for programs consisting of group of similar risks requiring specialized coverage under a Managing General Agent. She provides rating plan development and impact analysis for insurance and self-insurance. She also provides support where needed in state filings a regulatory matters.
