Previously, I was a lawyer at Clyde & Co for 18 years with an insurance law and civil litigation practice advising on a variety of insurance claims and risks, notably on coverage under a broad array of policies.

Recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada in the categories of Insurance Law (2022-2026) and Professional Malpractice Law (2024-2026) and by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory in Litigation – Commercial Insurance (2023-2026) and Professional Liability (2026) until my departure from private practice.

I have written and presented about emerging risks, particularly artificial intelligence, the Internet of things and climate-change risks, for the insurance industry and its clients for several years.

I taught the insurance law course (common law and civil law) at the Law Faculty of McGill University In 2018-2019.

Volunteer on the PLUS Quebec Chapter committee, organizing on-point continuing education and events for the insurance industry.
