Remi Stone

Remi joined The Doctors Company in 2019 as its Regional Director – Government Relations, with responsibility for covering public policy in the Northeast, Midwest, and the Federal Government.

With over three decades of experience working with local, state, and federal governments, Remi Stone has worked as lobbyist, practicing attorney, and executive vice president for non-profit organizations and businesses in 23 states and Washington D.C.

Her corporate experience includes Regional Director of Government Affairs for MillerCoors Brewing Company representing the company throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states, and Senior Director of Government Affairs for Advance America, an international consumer finance company, throughout the Midwest.
Stone earned bachelor’s degrees in political science and sociology from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, and served in the United States Air Force and Minnesota Air National Guard. She received her juris doctorate from Hamline University School of Law, where she continued as adjunct faculty, teaching courses in the areas of statutory interpretation, legislative drafting, and lobbying with emphasis on ethics in non-adjudicative settings
