Sean Letz

Sean is a proven leader, manager and technical expert helping clients globally manage their cyber and technology risk.
Sean is responsible for developing and executing a strategy to support Marsh Asia clients in understanding, measuring and managing their cyber risk. This strategy encompasses Marsh’s four pillars of cyber risk capabilities: insurance, risk intelligence, cybersecurity and incident management. Sean executes this strategy by utilising the full resources of Marsh (and Marsh McLennan’s other businesses) including market-leading global talent and digital tools. His expertise is sought to provide innovative solutions for Marsh’s largest and most complex clients.
Previously Sean worked in Marsh in London where he ran a large team that supported Marsh’s global clients to place their cyber, media and technology risks into the London insurance market. Sean began his Marsh career in New York City, where he was a senior member of the Marsh Cyber Centre of Excellence. In addition to his client responsibilities, Sean has worked on the development of Marsh’s new products and digital tools.
Sean has been recognised as a thought leader in the areas of cyber and technology risk, and is frequently invited to speak at conferences and events. He has been nominated thrice as the Advisen Cyber Risk Person of the Year (2017, 2021 & 2022) for the US, London and Asia respectively.
Prior to Marsh, Sean worked for ACE Insurance where he specialised in cyber event response, technology liability and professional indemnity claims. He began his career as a civil and commercial litigator in New York and New Jersey.
