Valoree Celona

Valoree Celona serves as Head of Underwriting for Coverys Insurance, overseeing Medical Professional Liability (MPL), Accident & Health, Alternative Risk, and all Other Casualty lines. She joined Coverys in 2019 as President of Programs and has since led the organization’s underwriting strategy across multiple specialty segments.
Ms. Celona brings more than 30 years of casualty and professional liability underwriting experience spanning the primary, reinsurance, and consulting sectors. Prior to joining Coverys, she was Senior Vice President for Programs and Physicians at Ironshore/Liberty Mutual. She previously served as Healthcare Division Executive for Liberty International Underwriters, where she led underwriting, product, and portfolio strategy for healthcare and professional liability risks.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Fordham University and is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
