Brian Rosenbaum

Brian Rosenbaum joined Aon Reed Stenhouse in November 2006, is a Senior Vice President and Aon Canada’s National Claims Director. As head of claims for Canada, Brian leads an exceptional team responsible for technical claims, claims operations and claims business intelligence. His team’s primary focus is enhanced client advocacy and customer service.

Brian also oversees Aon’s unique Legal and Research Practice. This practice, made up of lawyers and policy wording specialists, works alongside Aon’s broking units across all product lines and industry sectors and tracks Aon client’s risks and ensures policy wording appropriately responds to those exposures.

Daniel Beaudry

In 1995, Dan transitioned to the brokerage business and was most recently the executive vice president and regional placement and business development officer for Willis Canada. In 2013, Dan returned to AIG as Regional Casualty Executive. David Cook

Jacqueline Detablan

Laila Brabander

Laila Brabander has been appointed to a new and expanded role in Field Operation and Distribution Management, reporting to John Alfieri, country president Chubb Canada. In her new capacity, she will help ensure key distribution partners have access to Chubb’s offerings, and that their full needs are met throughout the region. Laila oversees portfolio management and partner with North America Chief Underwriting Officers to advance underwriting issues pertaining to Canada, including new product development (strategy and appetite) across all lines of P&C and Life business. She also serves as the region’s lead for Process Automation and Innovation, where she develops strategies designed to further efficiencies within a variety of business areas, with a strong focus on further automating the region. Laila joined Chubb in 2004 in Chubb’s Canadian Zone Specialty Claims, where she managed a team of lawyers and examiners. Throughout her tenure she has held a number of leadership roles with increasing responsibilities.

Paul Emerson

Paul Emerson is Head of Liability Claims at BHSI Canada. Paul is a lawyer with extensive experience handling casualty, executive and professional lines claims. Prior to joining BHSI, Paul practiced law for prominent law firms in Toronto representing a wide range of domestic and international insurers. Paul was also recently a member of Chubb Canada’s Specialty Claims Department. In addition to leading our Liability Claims operation in Canada, he plays an integral role in BHSI’s product development, underwriting and customer relationship teams. <div><span style="font-family:'Arial';font-size:9.00pt;">Phil joined Creechurch as its first underwriter and rejoined in 2010 following several years as a senior executive with another multinational insurer where he lead the Financial & Professional Services division. In this role Phil oversaw all financial lines including Financial Institutions, Management Liability and Professional Liability practices. Phil has twenty years' experience underwriting specialty and commercial insurance. He is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriters Society (PLUS) and he participates in industry seminars and conferences throughout Canada. Phil holds an honours BA from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.</span></div>

Richard Grant

Richard holds the position of Senior Vice President, Specialty Insurance Solutions at Trisura Guarantee Insurance Company (Trisura). Trisura is a Canadian property and casualty insurance company specializing in the contract surety, commercial surety, directors’ and officers’ liability, fidelity, and professional liability including media liability lines of business.<br/><br/>
Richard is responsible for leadership and oversight of the Specialty Insurance lines of business. In addition, Richard is also responsible for negotiating and coordinating all reinsurance treaties for the Specialty Insurance lines and is the product manager for the directors’ and officers’, professional liability and fidelity lines across Canada. As product manager, Richard oversees the creation of insurance products, wordings, endorsements and overall underwriting direction.<br/><br/>
Richard has 21 years of experience in the Specialty Insurance product lines with a focus on directors' and officers' and professional liability Insurance. Richard began his career as an underwriter at Travelers Guarantee Company of Canada (previously London Guarantee Insurance Company) where he advanced to the position of Assistant Vice President. At Travelers, Richard was involved with underwriting direction, product development, reinsurance, and systems. Prior to joining Trisura, Richard held the position of National Manager at Lombard General Insurance Company of Canada, in the Executive & Professional Solutions department focusing on directors’ and officers’ and professional liability insurance.<br/><br/>
In 2010, Richard was selected by his peers to be the National Chair of the Canadian chapter of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS). PLUS is a non-profit organization and is recognized as the primary source of professional liability educational programs and seminars. Richard’s two year term as Canadian National Chair ended in December of 2011.

Robyn Campbell

<strong>CURRENT RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>
<br/>
Robyn is a leading advisor on risk and insurance to companies and senior executives across Canada and is a nationally-recognized expert in the field of director and officer liability, risk and insurance. She advises many publicly traded companies in Canada and the United States and their directors and officers, as well as, private companies, Crown Corporations, and not-for-profit organizations. Robyn is the leader of Marsh’s Financial and Professional Services (FINPRO) Claims Advocacy Practice for Canada. In this role, Robyn advises and advocates on behalf of Marsh clients in the resolution and management of complex claims including multinational actions, with an emphasis on D&O liability. In addition, Robyn is an instructor at the Directors Education Program sponsored by the Institute of Corporate Directors at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management and other leading business schools in Canada.

<strong>EXPERIENCE</strong>

Robyn has been in the insurance industry since 2012. Prior to joining Marsh in 2020, Robyn was Vice President at a large international insurance company, where she lead a group of lawyers and other claims professionals in the specialty casualty claims group. The specialty casualty claims group were responsible for complex claims in all specialty areas including D&O, E&O, Employment Practices, Crime and Surety. Prior to joining the insurance industry, Robyn was in house counsel at an auto manufacturer, managing litigation during a particularly challenging time involving numerous class actions. Robyn began her legal career at Cassels, where she articled and was an associate in the commercial litigation department.

Scott is a Managing Director in Marsh Canada’s Toronto office. He leads the Risk Management Client Practice, which is comprised of the Mining, Power and Utilities, Financial Institutions and Professional Services, Retail, Industrial and Media, and Multinational Client Services teams.<br/><br/>
Scott also serves as a Client Executive and Senior Relationship Officer to a number of clients within the Financial Institutions and Professional Services industries.<br/><br/>
<strong>EXPERIENCE</strong><br/>
Scott joined Marsh Canada in 1995, and has since successfully negotiated and placed complex risk management programs that have reduced costs and enhanced value for clients facing North American and global exposures. Scott has been responsible for all aspects of service delivery and led the negotiations and placement of coverage on behalf of clients in the Financial Services, Professional Services and Technology & Telecommunication industries with a specialization in professional liability, management liability and financial institution bond / commercial crime coverages.<br/><br/>

Todd Armstrong

Todd Armstrong has worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years and has held various leadership roles in both underwriting and claims. In his current role as Senior Vice President, Specialty Lines at Liberty International Underwriters (Canada), Todd has Canadian oversight of management liability, professional liability, cyber, fidelity, crisis management, reps and warranties, energy and construction underwriting teams.
