2024 PLUS Healthcare & Medical PL Symposium – Most Successful Since 2008

The Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) welcomed nearly 450 healthcare liability professionals from around the world to its annual Healthcare & Medical PL Symposium. The event, which took place May 8-10 at the renowned JW Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando, featured 24 leading industry experts that articulated a diverse array of cutting-edge perspectives.

Attendees earned up to six CE/CLE credits with a hybrid approach that included three live educational sessions and three post-event webinars. The Symposium also provided ample networking and development opportunities including a golf tournament at the premier Ritz Carlton Golf Club, two PLUS-hosted events comprising a welcome reception and happy hour gathering, and six sponsor-led sessions. The 2024 Symposium survey results revealed an astounding 100% of respondents would recommend attendance to a colleague, with the leading factors being quality networking and educational content.

PLUS considers one of its main roles to be a provider of premium education, and with such tremendous growth and change happening across the professional liability industry, there is a breadth of topics to which professionals must stay attuned. The Symposium addressed the following:
