2026 Healthcare & MedPL Wraps Up as a Success!

The 2026 Healthcare & MedPL Symposium brought nearly 500 healthcare liability professionals from across the country together for its 25th anniversary last week in Phoenix. The event celebrated 25 years of past accomplishments in healthcare professional liability while paving the way for future success and innovation.

Attendees enjoyed unparalleled networking, education, and business development opportunities over the event’s two and a half days. Highlights included:

• High-impact education sessions led by industry experts. Eight sponsored sessions and four CE/CLE-eligible sessions provided attendees with the information and knowledge needed to elevate their careers. Topics included everything from medical staffing trends to AI trends in healthcare litigation.
• Keynote presentation by James Whitfill, MD. Attendees learned firsthand from Dr. Whitfill about the increasing role of AI in healthcare and its impact on liability and pricing.
• Future PLUS Pre-Symposium Intensive. This event provided an exclusive opportunity for Future PLUS members to meet with the event chairs and get real-world advice they could use to advance their careers.
• 25th Anniversary Welcome Reception. This event gave attendees the opportunity to connect and celebrate the evolution of medical professional liability while looking ahead to an even brighter future.
• Numerous opportunities to network and engage. From the networking lounge to the happy hour and breakfasts, attendees built valuable connections that are sure to benefit them both professionally and personally.
