Celebrating a Year of Growth: 2025 Future PLUS Advancement Initiative Highlights

In 2025, PLUS launched the Future PLUS Advancement Initiative, a strategic, high-impact effort designed to expand opportunities for early-career professionals, elevate awareness of Future PLUS offerings, and build a stronger leadership pipeline for the industry. As we close out the year, we’re proud to reflect on the meaningful progress we’ve made together.

Launching the Future PLUS LEAD Program

One of the most exciting milestones of 2025 was the introduction of the Future PLUS LEAD Program, a six-week virtual leadership training experience designed to equip young professionals for their next career step. With instructor-led sessions, collaborative breakout discussions, scenario-based learning, and an interactive digital whiteboard, the program provides participants with the tools and confidence they need to lead effectively.

Looking Ahead: 2026 LEAD Cohorts

After two successful cohorts in 2025, we are building on this momentum and are excited to offer four LEAD cohorts in 2026, with registration now open:

• Winter 2026: January 21 – February 25
• Spring 2026: May 6 – June 10
• Summer 2026: August 5 – September 9
• Fall 2026: September 23 – October 28

A newly added Future PLUS Member Benefits Guide on the Future PLUS landing page helps young professionals quickly identify which PLUS offerings best support their career growth.

Strengthening Involvement Through the Symposia Liaison Program

The Initiative also supports leadership exposure opportunities for early-career professionals through the new Future PLUS Symposia Liaison Program. Selected by the Future PLUS Leadership Committee, a Future PLUS liaisons is assigned to each PLUS Symposium. This program offers a unique window into national event planning and provides emerging leaders with skills in strategic planning, content development, and professional collaboration.

Chapter Support for Future Leaders

PLUS Chapters demonstrated their ongoing commitment to young professionals by allocating the net revenue from golf events and making year-end contributions to the Future PLUS Advancement Initiative. These contributions directly support the development of resources and programming aimed at preparing emerging professionals for the next stage in their careers.
