Forward Together: Join the Future PLUS Movement and Meet Your 2024 Future PLUS Leadership Team

With a new year, comes new PLUS committee chairs and members, new events, and new ways to get involved. Today, we are highlighting the Future PLUS Leadership Committee members that will inform Future PLUS events and engagement for the upcoming year as well as provide opportunities to get involved.

Future PLUS, via volunteer task forces, manages the Future PLUS Mentorship Network, provides content for the PLUS Blog and webinars, and creates opportunities for engagement at PLUS events geared for young professionals in the professional liability industry.

Exploring Opportunities with Future PLUS Task Forces

Looking for ways to get involved with Future PLUS? Serve the needs of the new generation of insurance professionals by joining a Future PLUS Task Force. The following Task Forces are accepting new member volunteers:

Preparing for the 2024 New York Symposium Series with Future PLUS

Attending the PLUS Symposium Series in New York March 4^th-6^th? Here are some things the Future PLUS Leadership Committee thinks you should know before you go!

- Education –
  - Select sessions to attend.
  - Balance personal interest and career education.
  - - Expose yourself to new, challenging topics.

- Networking –
  - Review attendee list.
  - Identify clients, colleagues, mentors with whom to connect.
  - - Reciprocate with those who would like to meet you!

- Personal Goals –
  - Intimidated by meeting new people? Set a goal of introducing yourself to 5 people.
  - - Interested in getting involved with PLUS? Target Future PLUS Leadership or Local Chapter Reps. The following Future PLUS Leadership Committee members will be present at NY Symposium: Kimberly Melvin, Mike Galati, and Alaina Clemmons.
