Jeff Klenk Wins the 2023 PLUS1 Award

PLUS is pleased to share that the newest recipient of the prestigious 2023 PLUS1 Award is Jeff Klenk, Executive Vice President and President of Bond & Specialty Insurance at Travelers. The distinguished honor celebrates exceptional professionals who have made remarkable additions to the ever changing world of professional liability insurance. Several different criteria are considered during the selection process including reputation and career success, history of lectures, participation on panels addressing topics in the industry, current activity in professional liability, training and involvement in PLUS, and both the longevity and measure of impact in the business.

Mr. Klenk joined Travelers in 1999 and his current oversight includes Travelers worldwide Surety and Management Liability product and service offerings. He has spent nearly 30 years making great strides in the insurance industry, as well as maintaining an active PLUS membership that includes serving not only as a past President for the Society but also for the PLUS Foundation. Mr. Klenk is a recognized industry authority on professional liability products and frequently speaks at seminars and conferences inside and outside the insurance industry.

The official presentation of the award took place during the PLUS Conference that was held at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas from December 4-6, 2023. The annual conference provides an incomparable platform for professionals to come together, learn and celebrate industry-wide outstanding achievements.
