PLUS Announces 2025 Board of Trustees

The Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) announced its new board of trustees and executive committee. The PLUS Board of Trustees acts on behalf of the membership to fulfill the mission of and set the vision for PLUS. Trustees play a vital role in establishing the strategic objectives for PLUS, electing the Executive Committee, and acting as ambassadors of PLUS.

PLUS members elected the following as new trustees for three-year terms: Janet Dreifuss, ARC Excess & Surplus, LLC; David Garrigus, HUB International; and Jeremy Zacharias, Marshall Dennehey, P.C. Also elected as trustees for a second three-year term is Max Carter, New Dawn Risk Group Limited, and Deborah Egel Fergus, Argo Group U.S.

The Board of Trustees elected to the PLUS Executive Committee: Outgoing President Nicole Sheth, Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan LLP; President Jackie Waters, Aon; Incoming President La’Vonda McLean, Marsh; Secretary/Treasurer Alison Martin, Chubb; and Vice President David Garrigus, HUB International. Departing the Executive Committee after four years of service but remaining on the PLUS Board for 2025 is Jay Karp, Travelers.

PLUS thanks the following departing trustees for their service and time on the board: Jennifer O’Neill, Marsh; Jed Shea, Lockton Companies; and Derek Van der Voort, Athur J. Gallagher & Co.
