PLUS Foundation Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisory Committee
In an effort to better support tomorrows diverse professional liability workforce, the PLUS Foundation has established a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisory Committee to guide the PLUS Foundation board about diversity and equity programming and to provide feedback and make recommendations about the Leadership & Mentoring Program (LAMP).
We are pleased to introduce the 2021 DEI Advisory Committee:
Tiina Caldara, RPLU
Partner Re
Tiina Caldara is a Vice President at Partner Reinsurance Company focusing on all Professional Lines. Previously, she was a Vice President at AXIS Re for 10 years in treaty underwriting for various professional, casualty, and property lines. Tiina graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Economics and Systems Engineering. She has earned her MBA from Penn State University.
Jahan Cedenio, RPLU+
Marsh
Jahan Cedenio joined Bowring Marsh (Marsh & McLennan Companies) in 2014 and is an Assistant Vice-President in the Financial and Professional (FINPRO) Risks Department, focusing on providing innovative wholesale risk solutions primarily to fortune 1000 clients and helping to drive product sales and development. Jahan serves on the PLUS Foundation Board, received his Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) in 2011 and became an RPLU+ in 2015. Jahan participated in the first LAMP cohort in 2016.
Aneisha Goldsmith, RPLU
Chubb
Aneisha’s insurance career spans nearly 25 years. Her experience includes roles in underwriting, claims, sales, marketing, and account management. She currently serves as Assistant Vice-President with Chubb in the Cyber/E&O space. Aneisha currently serves as the Chapter Chair of the Southwest PLUS Chapter and she received her Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation in 2015. Aneisha is a member of the National African American Insurance Association, the Greater Phoenix Urban League, and the Project Management Institute. Aneisha participated in LAMP in 2019.
Amina Huling
Aon
Amina is a Vice President and Director in the New York office of Aon’s Professional Services practice. Amina is responsible for advocating on behalf of her law firm clients in the global insurance marketplace. Amina specializes in placing professional liability, employment practices liability, management liability, and cyber insurance coverage. She also serves in an advisory role related to emerging risk issues facing the law firm sector.
Lynn Kimmel Johnson
CalSurance
Lynn Kimmel Johnson joined The CalSurance Companies (the predecessor firm to Brown & Brown Program Insurance Services, Inc.) in November 1986 and has held various positions in the company. She currently serves as the Senior Executive Vice President of the company working to develop company strategy, build and maintain long term relationships with insurance carriers, deliver program management and other services to key clients, and is responsible for the marketing and servicing of certain large group accounts produced by CalSurance. Lynn has served on the PLUS Foundation Board of Directors since 2017 and chairs the DEI Advisory Committee.
Moire Moron, Esq.
QBE
Moir L. Morn, Esq. is a licensed New York attorney, currently employed by QBE North America, as AVP EPL Claims Practice Leader for Management Liability. In her role as Claims Practice Leader, Moire regularly speaks at various EPL Conferences, and her thought leadership articles have been published in various industry publications. Moire has been a long-time champion for DEIA. At QBE, she served as Co-Chair of the PRIDE BRG. She continues to contribute to the ongoing efforts of integrating DEIA in all facets of the professional liability industry. Moire participated in the second LAMP Cohort in 2017.
Shelby Robinson
Retired
Shelby Robinson is a 35 year insurance veteran. She started her career in 1984 with The Hartford as a claims representative. Shelby held several positions of increased responsibility until 1991, when she started with AIG in the Lawyers Malpractice claims group. Several years later, Shelby transferred to underwriting and retired in 2019 as a Vice President the New York Region responsible for managing the middle market Financial Institutions Group.
Eric Tu
Axis Capital
Eric Tu is an active advocate of DEI, presiding on the PLUS Foundation advisory committee as well as his own organizations council at AXIS. He volunteers in a leadership role on the PLUS Canada Chapter and serves as Assistant Vice President within AXIS Capitals Professional Lines Group. In this role, he oversees the profitable growth of a market leading specialty insurance portfolio, specifically in Financial Institutions and Executive Risk. Eric works with a broad array of FI and commercial clients ranging from private entities to Fortune 500 corporations developing countless innovative solutions for his partners. Eric completed the LAMP program in 2020.
Anika Wallace
Beecher Carlson
With more than 9 years of experience in the insurance industry, Anika serves a resource and specialist in the in the evaluation, design and development of risk transfer solutions that address management, cyber and professional liability exposures. She works with a diverse group of clients from various industry segments; with a focus on public company accounts as well as the Life Sciences and Healthcare industry.
